Looking for a Guest Manual alternative? Try GuestIntro
Guest Manual (guestmanual.com) is one of the most capable AI guidebooks around, and on features it beats us in more places than we'd like. If you want to start free, or you have four to ten properties and want a published flat price, GuestIntro is worth a look.

Where we win
Three reasons to pick GuestIntro
You can start without paying
Guest Manual has no free tier. Their 14-day trial is full access with no card, but at day fifteen you're paying or gone. GuestIntro's free plan runs one property indefinitely: six sections, two languages, no AI chatbot and no PDF export, but no expiry and nothing advertised to your guests.
Four to ten properties cost less
Guest Manual's Pro plan is $299.99 a year for up to five listings, and a sixth means an Enterprise quote. GuestIntro covers two to five properties for $204 a year and six to ten for $300, both published and both self-serve. At two or three properties the two are within a few dollars of each other, so price only decides it from the fourth listing on.
Guests can print or save it
Every paid GuestIntro tier exports the manual as a PDF, which is handy for a printed copy on the kitchen counter or guests heading somewhere with poor signal. Guest Manual advertises printable QR codes for the guide, but we couldn't find a PDF export of the guide itself.
Where they win
When you should pick Guest Manual instead
More cases than usual, and in each of them we'd genuinely tell you to go with Guest Manual.
You want the guide built and sent for you
Guest Manual drafts a full guide from your existing house manual, listing description and photos, and fills a Nearby tab with local recommendations that update by season and time of day and drop places that have closed. The guide link then goes out automatically through Airbnb and Vrbo, or through a PMS such as Hostaway or OwnerRez on Plus. With GuestIntro you write the content and share the link yourself.
Your guests speak more than ten languages
Guest Manual covers 16 languages, and their AI concierge answers guests in their own. We cover ten: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. If you host guests outside those, Guest Manual serves them and we don't.
You want AI on the cheapest plan
Their AI concierge is on Starter, the $99.99-a-year plan, and it's thoughtfully built: it hands off to you when the guide doesn't cover something and suggests edits based on what guests ask. GuestIntro's chatbot is on every paid tier too, from $84 a year, but not on our free plan. They also have an iOS app for editing on the go, which we don't.

Common questions
- Is there a free alternative to Guest Manual?
- GuestIntro's free plan covers one property indefinitely with no credit card and no trial countdown. It's capped at six sections and two languages, and leaves out the AI chatbot and PDF export. Guest Manual (guestmanual.com) has no free tier, only a 14-day trial with full access and no card.
- How much does Guest Manual cost?
- Three published plans, priced by listing count. Starter covers one listing at $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Plus covers up to three at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. Pro covers up to five at $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year. Anything above five listings is Enterprise, which is quote-only through a demo booking.
- Which is cheaper, Guest Manual or GuestIntro?
- At one property GuestIntro is free, or $84 a year paid against $99.99. At two or three properties the yearly prices are within a few dollars of each other: $204 for GuestIntro against $199.99. At four or five it's $204 against $299.99, and from six to ten GuestIntro is $300 a year while Guest Manual moves to a custom Enterprise quote.
- Does Guest Manual have an AI chatbot?
- Yes, and it's a good one. Their AI concierge is on every plan including Starter, answers guests in their own language, hands off to the host when the guide doesn't cover a question, and suggests guide edits from what guests ask. GuestIntro's AI chatbot is on every paid tier but not the free plan.
- Can I switch from Guest Manual to GuestIntro?
- There's no automated import, so it means copying content across. A single property usually takes under an hour. Build the new manual while your existing guide stays live, then swap the link and QR code in your booking messages once you're happy.
